BRAR successfully completed factory cold tests of the high-current system for Nippon Steel & Sumikin Engineering Co., Ltd. (NSENGI) LF furnace.
The scope of supply included the design and manufacturing of a secondary bus bars, water cooled cables and power conducting arms.
The secondary circuit bus bar was made of water cooled copper tubes, 4 tubes/phase.
Water cooled cables were manufactured with additional reinforcements and protections.
Power conducting arms made of Steel-Copper clad material have been designed including the “maintenance deck” to help maintenance service and to suit the Automated electrode connector.
