FLEXIBILE SHUNTS

Features

These flexible connections are used in all industrial applications, where high current must be carried. Made of copper or aluminium laminas for the greatest flexibility, the lamellar shunts are used to compensate for:

♦ thermal expansion
♦ the transmission of vibrations
♦ small movements

0.10 - 0.50 mm-thick copper or aluminium laminas, made to the customer's design and specifications.

Types of laminated shunts

There are various types of flexible connections to suit the intended application:

♦ Press welded lamellar shunts
♦ Riveted lamellar shunts
♦ MIG and TIG welded lamellar shunts
♦ Electron beam welded lamellar shunts
